By air to the city centre

There are a number of airports in the wider Stockholm area, including Arlanda, Skavsta, Västerås and Bromma

Arlanda Airport is the main Stockholm airport and is situated 40 kilometres north of the city centre.

Skavsta Airport is situated 1 hour and 20 minutes south of Stockholm.

• The coach service Flygbussarna runs between Arlanda and the central station in Stockholm. www.flygbussarna.se
• It is also possible to travel by regular trainservice SJ from nearby Nyköping to Stockholm. www.sj.se

Västerås Airport lies 1 hour and 15 minutes north-west of Stockholm.

• There are some coaches by Flygbussarna though they run rather infrequently. www.flygbussarna.se Bromma Airport is a smaller airport located close to the city centre with flights to a limited number of destinations.
